Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” June 3, 1935:

David C. Allbright, 80, former resident of Ottumwa died at 4 p.m. Monday in a Des Moines hospital. While a resident here, Allbright worked at the Harper-McIntire wholesale house. He had been in Des Moines about fifteen years.

Surviving are his wife and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Grace Davis, Ottumwa; Mrs. Blanche Dillon, Mrs. Garnet Davis, Mrs. Helen Cook, Mrs. Mildred Peel, Des Moines; Will Allbright, Ottumwa; George, Carl and Harlan Allbright, Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held at the Newlin funeral home in Des Moines at 10 a.m. Wednesday and at 2 p.m. at the Shaul cemetery here. The Rev. Harold Lancaster, D.D., pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church, will officiate here.
