VETERAN RETAIL MERCHANT DIES

Harvey Rice 61, succumbs after a long illness; He was Prominent In Masic Circles.

Harry Rice 61, for twenty one years in the retail goods business here; died at his home at 322 Cara Street at 7:00 a.m. today.

Mr. Rice had been inactive since January 9, 1937; when he left the management of the Spurgeon Mercantile Company because of Illness.
