DURWARD D. OVERTURF.
Durward D. Overturf, 25 years old,
died at Sunnyslope sanatorium Sun-
day morning at 9:30 o'clock. He is
survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
A. M. Overturf, one brother, Roy
Overturf and one sister, Mrs. O. E.
Carlson, all of Ottumwa. Private fu-
neral services will be held from the
home of his sister, Mrs. Carlson, 506
Wabash avenue, Tuesday, at 2 p. m.
Services will then be held from the
Davis Street Christian church at 2:30,
conducted by the Rev. A. D. McClure,
assisted by the Rev. John W. McKee.
Overturf was a member of the local
Masonic lodge, No. 269 and of Hafed
Grotto. The Masonic burial ritual
will be read at the grave in Shaul
cemetery.
