Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” October 9, 1931:

MRS. A.E. SODERBERG

The body of Mrs. Hulda Soderberg, 66 years old, wife of A.E. Soderberg and former resident of Ottumwa, who died at her home in Fremont, Mich., Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock, will arrive here on C.B. & Q. train No. 7, at 8:35 a.m. Saturday. The body will be taken directly to the Shaul cemetery where short funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. E.C. Beach, pastor of the First Christian church. Mrs. Harry Swenson will sing, “Rock of Ages.” Mrs. Soderberg is survived by her husband; one son, Walter of Chicago; four sisters, Mrs. A.G. Wallace, Mrs. Fred Swenson and Mrs. George Allison, all of Ottumwa, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Engstrom, in Sweden. A daughter preceded her in death December 31, 1930. Pallbearers will be: Elmer Wallace, Carl Wallace, Edwin Swenson, Berg Allison, George Allison, and Wayne Crigler.
