Mrs. Mae VanDeGore.
Mrs. Mae VanDeGore, 82, died
Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Wap-
ello county hospital. She had lived
in Ottumwa and community for
44 years.
The daughter of Albert and
Alice Hasselman, she was born
May 1, 1874, in Council Bluffs.
She was a member of the Meth-
odist church. She was married to
Tunis VanDeGore, who preceded
her in death.
Surviving are two daughters,
Mrs. Margaret Pullen of Knox-
ville and Mrs. Helen Rodene of
Seattle, Wash., one son, George
VanDeGore of Ottumwa, and three
grandchildren. Besides her hus-
band, a son and a daughter pre-
ceded her in death.
The body is at the Johnson fu-
neral chapel, pending completion
of funeral arrangements.
