Funeral Service Notice From “Ottumwa Courier,” August 16, 1909:

The funeral services of Mrs. Elizabeth Chisman were held this afternoon at the home of the decedent’s daughter, Mrs. George Jenkins in Chillicothe. The interment was made in the Chisman cemetery. Mrs. A.W. Slaught and Mrs. Nellie Hughes of this city rendered very impressive music during the services.
