Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” December 20, 1894:

Mrs. William Albright died at the family residence, three miles east of Ottumwa, Tuesday evening, Dec. 11, of heart disease. Mrs. Albright was a native of Germany, born at Dansennan, Jan. 15, 1838. Her maiden name was Emma Linkenback. She came with her parents to America in December, 1844, who settled near Ottumwa, Wapello county. Oct. 30, 1868, she became the wife of William Albright, and was the mother of five children, three sons, deceased, and two daughters, namely, Miss Ella M. and Mrs. Rosa B. Dutton, who with the the [sic] husband, are left to mourn the loss of a faithful wife and a loving mother. Mrs. Albright’s last illness was of five weeks duration and was painful, but borne with great patience. She was 56 years, 10 months old. The funeral was attended yesterday from the late residence by Rev. L.F. Berry, and the burial was at Burns cemetery, five miles west of the city, near Mrs. Albright’s early home.
