Husband of Elenor Larson; married Sep. 5, 1923 at Ottumwa. Son of Andrew & Annis Klinger Orman.

Delph Orman, 74, of 1331 Chester Ave., died at his home Saturday at 10:25 a.m. He had been ill a year.He was an employe of Barker Poultry Equipment Co. for 23 years prior to his retirement in 1962.

The son of Andrew and An-nise Klingler Orman, he was born in Wapello County near Ormanville on March 12, 1895, and was a resident of Ottumwa most of his life.

An Army veteran of World War I, he entered service
on July 22, 1918 and was dis-charged on Nov. 11, 1918. He was a member of Barracks 1510,Veterans of World War I and of O.B.Nelson Post No.3 American Legion.His marriage to Eleanor Lar-son took place Sept. 5, 1923 in Ottumwa. She survives.

He also leaves 2 brothers; Charles Orman of SaltLake City, Utah,and Alfred Orman of Drakes-ville Route 1; one sister,Mrs.Nellie Varner of Centerville;and several nieces and nephews.Eight brothers and five sisters preceded him in death. Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Chapel with the Rev.Henry B.Klemert, of First Luthern Church officiating Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be PaulErickson, Marvin Mitchell, Rob-ert Lewis, Marvin Nelson, Jack Engstrom and William Ekwall. The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service.
