DEATHS

RICE–Sunday, October 26, 1913 at 8:20 a.m. at the family residence in Riverview, Mrs. Rachael Ida Rice, wife of J.W. Rice, aged 55 years.

The deceased was born in Jones county, June 15, 1858 and is survived by her husband, two sons, C.A. Rice and Arthur H. Rice, two brothers Alva and John Harry, parents Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Harry all of Ottumwa and two sisters, Mrs. Jane Pratt of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. Ellen Morris of Salem, Wash.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the residence with the Rev. C.A. Field of the Main street Methodist church in charge and interment will be made in Shaul cemetery.
