Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” Monday, May 4, 1936:

Mrs. Jennie Stevens, 76, died at her home in Chicago, Ill. last Thursday, according to word received here today.

The body is being brought to Ottumwa Tuesday morning and short funeral services will be held at Johnson’s funeral chapel at 1 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be made in Shaul cemetery.
