FUNERALS.
The funeral services over the re-
mains of Thomas Shoemaker, whose
death took place Saturday, were held
Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from
the residence, 211 East Holt street.
Rev. T. M. Fenwick, pastor of the
Free Methodist church at Birmingham,
formerly of this city, conducted the
services. The minister paid a loving
tribute to the deceased. The remains
were conveyed to the Shaul cemetery
where interment took place. The
pallbearers were Gurley Baker, Rich-
ard Thomas, H. C. Williams, George
Gibson, M. Baughman and D. Shadley.
