PENROD.—Saturday, February 25, 1911, at 8 a. m., at the home of his son Edward Penrod, on Clarence
street, Ezra Penrod, aged 72 years. The deceased was a veteran of the Civil War serving with Company C, Seventh Iowa, Cavalry. He enlisted at Douds Leando. He had made Ottumwa his residence for several years. He leaves two sons, William of Kentucky and Edward of this city and one daughter, Mrs. Alice Taterow of Concordia Kanas. His wife died about sixteen years ago. Funeral services were held from the Edward Penrod residence this morning at 10 o’clock Rev. E. W. Farris Holler, assistant pastor of the First Presbyterian church, conducted the services in the Shaul cemetery.
