Funeral services over the remains of Gustaf Lindquist, who died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. S. J. Siestrand, 218 South Ward Street, were held from the residence this afternoon at 2 o'clock, and from the Swedish Lutheran church at 2.30 o'clock. Rev. Oscar A. Henry, pastor of the church, conducted the services. The deceased was born in Sweden November 8, 1827, and was 83 years of age at the time of his death. He was united in marriage to Johanna Matilda Lindquist in 1854 in Sweden. To this union eight children were born, four of whom
survive the father. They are Mrs. Hallberg of Chicago, Mrs. J. A. Backman and Mrs. C. A. Lundberg of Des Moines and Mrs. S. J. Siestrand of Ottumwa. His wife also survives him. Interment was made in the Ottumwa cemetery. The pallbearers were John Lager, Oscar Lager, Victor Tindell, Otto Freed, John Swanson and John Swanson and John Carlton.
LINDQUIST—Sunday, January 29, 1911 at 12:10 p. m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. S. J. Siestrand, 218 South Ward street, Gus Lindquist, aged 84 years. The deceased was born in Sweden November 8, 1827 and had resided in Wapello County for many years. Funeral services will be held tomorrow from the Siestrand residence at 2 o'clock and from the Swedish Lutheran church on North Jefferson Street, at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Oscar A. Henry will conduct the services. Interment will be made in the Ottumwa
cemetery.
