FUNERALS.
The last sad rites over the remains of Mrs. Clara B. Dimmitt, wife of W. H. Dimmitt, who passed away Thursday, were held at the family residence in Dahlonega Township this afternoon at 1 o'clock. Rev. T. J. Pettit of the
Epworth Methodist chapel, conducted the services. Interment was made in the Ottumwa cemetery.
OBITUARY.
Mrs. W. H. Dimmitt. Clara Belle, daughter of Caleb E. and Mary Bedell Miller was born March 23, 1859 In Wapello County Iowa. She was the youngest of six children of whom one alone Mrs. Kate Long survives. On March 3, 1878 she was married to W. H. Dimmitt, and to this union were born three children, Norman, Irene and Ernest all of whom are living. After a lingering illness of almost eight months she passed away December 22, 1910 at the age of 51 years, 8 months and 29 days. Mrs. Dimmitt was converted when about Sixteen years old and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church which faith she earnestly cherished to the time of her death. All who knew her are confident of her abundant entrance into God's eternal rest. The funeral services was held at the home Saturday December 24, and ware conducted by Rev. T. G. Pettit, of Mt Pleasant, a former pastor of the family. Interment was made in the Ottumwa cemetery.
