LEWIS—Wednesday, December 21, 1910, at 3 a. m., at her residence, 518 Jay Street, Mrs. Mary Jane Lewis, widow of William Lewis, aged 73 years. The deceased came to Wapello County in 1850 and was one of the oldest residents of the county. She is survived by four children, Horatio Lewis, Horace O. Lewis and Ida E. Lewis of this city and Otis Lewis of Sleepy Eye, Minn. The remains have been removed to the home of her son, Horace O. Lewis, corner Second and Union streets, where funeral services will be held Friday at 3 o'clock. Kev. T. W. Jeffrey, pastor of the First M. E. church, will conduct the services. Interment will be made in the Ottumwa cemetery.
The funeral services of Mrs. Mary Jane Lewis, widow of William Lewis, were held from the residence of her son, Horace O. Lewis, corner of Second and Union Street, yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Rev. Thomas W. Jeffrey of the First Methodist Episcopal church, conducted the services. The remains were interred in the Ottumwa cemetery.
