OBITUARY.
Luella, daughter of James K. and Mary Thompson, was born in Jefferson County, Iowa. Sept. 2, 1865 and departed this life at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, Nov. 22, 1910, aged 45 years, 2 months and 22 days. She was one of a family of
eight children, five of whom with the father preceded her to the other world. With the exception of four years spent in Ottumwa, Iowa she has spent her life in and around Birmingham. The result of an accident which almost cost her life so shocked her nerves that it left her afflicted all her life. Her mother has cared for her all the time except the last few days. A short time ago it was deemed wise to take her Mt. Pleasant in the hope of it being for the best. While there she passed away and left behind her to mourn their loss a mother and two brothers. Funeral services were held at the home Thursday November 24. 1930 at 2:30 p. m., conducted by Rev. A. W. McBain and burial was in the Birmingham cemetery.
