KIRKPATRICK.—Saturday, December 3, 1910, at Hedrick, Hannah Kirkpatrick, age 91 years, 8 months and 10 days. Mrs. Kirkpatrick had been a resident of Keokuk and Wapello counties for sixty years. The funeral will be held Thursday December 8, 1910, at 10 a. m., at the Christian church in Hedrick. Interment in Highland cemetery.

Iowa Pioneer, Past Ninety Years, Laid to Rest

Hedrick, Dec. 9.—(Special.)—The
funeral of Mrs. Hannah Kirkpatrick who died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Almira Lentner in this city was held Thursday at-the Christian church at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W. M. Hollett of Hedrick. Hannah Godfrey was born in Hardie County, Virginia, March 23, 1819 and died in this city Dec. 3, 1910 at the age of 91 years, 8 months and 10 days. The deceased leaves 3 sons and one daughter to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother, the husband having died in 1894: Wade Kirkpatrick, and Mrs. Elmira Lentner of Hedrick, Dr. Thomas Kirkpatrick of Garnett. Kansas, and Sanford Kirkpatrick of Greensboro, N. Carolina. She will be greatly missed by her many friends as she was beloved by all her acquaintances. Interment, was made in the Highland cemetery.
