Mrs. Lena Pierre, 62, wife of Ed Pierre of Ottumwa route 3, died at Mount Pleasant Friday at 11:30 AM. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter Mrs. Beryl Kosman of Ottumwa route 2; one sister Mrs. Rose Ulmer of Ottumwa, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at the Vaughan funeral Chapel, at 8:30 AM and at 9 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, where Requiem high mass will be celebrated the Rev. B. J. Decker. Burial be made in the Calvary cemetery. The body will remain at the Vaughan Chapel until the time for the services.
