William Conger Passed Away at His Home South of City

William Conger died yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at his home south of the city after a few weeks illness from typhoid fever and pneumonia. Mr. Conger was 46 years of age and is survived by his wife and five children, his mother: Mrs. Mahala Conger and two brothers, Thomas and Aaron Conger. He was a member of the Christian church and was held in high regard by all who knew him. The funeral services will be conducted from the residence Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Ottumwa cemetery.
