William Ralph Livesay, 58, Route 1, Agency, died early Tuesday morning at the home of his mother, Mrs. Bertha Livesay, 202 W. Washington.
Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Ed Dorman officiating. Interment will be in the Packwood Cemetery.
Members of the family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. this evening, Wednesday.
William Ralph Livesay was born Sept. 29, 1918, in Tennessee. He was the son of Andrew Jackson and Bertha Lambert Livesay, and was reared and educated near Sigourney.
He was married to Jean Williams in 1944. The marriage took place in Missouri. Livesay was employed for 19 years at the American Chain and Cable Co. in Fairfield. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his mother; one son, Ronald Ralph Livesay, Agency; one daughter, Mrs. Justine Hawk, Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Joyce Saunders, Des Moines; and a brother, Alex Livesay, Keosauqua.
He was preceded in death by his father, one brother and a sister.
