OTTUMWA - Barry Feldmann, 77, died Tuesday morning at his home in Ottumwa.
Feldmann was born Sept. 9, 1899 in Mahaska County, the son of George and Barbara Gieg Feldmann. He married Edith Beall March 2, 1924 in Agency. She died in 1959.
Feldmann was an Ottumwa area farmer until retiring in 1973.
Surviving are three sons, George of Bloomfield, Lawrence of Ottumwa, Donald of Fairfax; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Pyle and Mrs. Barbara Black Luke, both of Fairfield; one sister, Mrs. Luella Tiedtke of Ottumwa; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, 1:30 p.m., at Shrine of Memories Funeral Home in Ottumwa with the Rev. Richard Faust officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
