Ottumwa Courier April 13, 1936

Mrs. Ollie M. Hoskinson, 70, of 136 S. Moore St., died at the Ottumwa hospital Saturday at 8:20 PM. She was the daughter of Levi and Elizabeth Edwards and was born in Salina, September 12, 1865. She had lived in Ottumwa for the last 26 years. She was a member of The Finley Ave., Baptist Church and of the Philathea class in that church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Cecil Davis of Ottumwa; two sons, Verdie M. Hoskinson of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Hessell L. Hoskinson of Ottumwa; one brother, E. E. Edwards of Cedar; two sisters, Mrs. Lina Vale of Qgiesby, Illinois, and Mrs. Bertha Edmund of Ames, and six grandchildren. Her husband, Hubert and a daughter preceded her in death. Short funeral services were held today at Johnson's funeral Chapel at 2 PM and at 2:30 PM at The Finley Ave., Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. F. M. Rogers. Burial will be made in the Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers were O. E. Kinnear, C. A. McClure, C. A. Overpeck, R. W. Lowe, Clifford Agee and Frank Boyd.
