Mrs. Louise Champ, 72, Eldon died at the St. Joseph hospital Saturday at 7 PM. She was the daughter of Peter and Emaline Johnson and was born in Davis County September 22, 1863. She was a member of the Christian church, Floris. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Carrie Garner of Ottumwa, Mrs. Nora Goodwin of Ottumwa route 7 and Miss Freda Champ, at home; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Champ, and one son, Harley. Short funeral services will be held at Johnson's funeral Chapel at 1:30 PM Tuesday and at the Eldon Christian church at 2 PM, conducted by the Rev. E. H. Willey. Burial be made in the Eldon cemetery.
