Fred N. Cummins, 64, died at his home, 337 Taft Ave., Thursday at 2:45 PM. He was the son of Bird and Arme Cummins and was born north of Kirkville, February 11, 1872. He had lived in Kirkville all his life until the last year, when he made his home in Ottumwa. Surviving are his wife, Bertha, Ottumwa; two sons, Bernard Cummins of Ottumwa route 8 and David S. of Carpentaria, California, and two daughters, Mrs. Roscoe Marshall and Cleo Cummins, both of Ottumwa. Short funeral services will be held at the home Sunday at 12:30 PM and at 130 at the Kirkville Methodist Episcopal Church, conducted by the Rev. A. D. McClure. Burial be made in Kirkville. The body will be at Johnson's funeral Chapel until 6 PM today, when it will be taken to the home.
