ELDON - Funeral services for Nancy K. SCHOLTEN, 40, Route 1, Eldon, who died in a car-train crash Tuesday night, will be at 11 a.m. Fridat at First United Presbyterian Church in Fairfield. The Rev. Carl Riggs will officiate. Burial will be in Holman Township Cemetery in Sibley.
The family will be at the Jay Funeral Home in Ottumwa tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. Contributions to the Nancy Scholten Memorial Fund may be sent to Jay Funeral Home, 220 N. Court, Ottumwa, 52501.
Mrs. SCHOLTEN was born Oct. 24, 1941 in George, the daughter of Andrew and Bertha SAAIJENGA MEYER. She married Douglas L. SCHOLTEN on Aug. 26, 1960 at Armour, S.D. She was a member of First United Presbyteriarn Church in Fairfield and with her husband owned and operated Little Nashville Restaurant in Batavia.
Surviving are her husband; five daughters, Tamara, Jill, Wendlyn, Tracy and Janel, all at home; nine sisters; two brothers and her parents of Sibley.
