Reverend Raney Called By Death
Baptist Minister Last Preached At Concorde And Old Brushey.
The Rev. George William Raney, 82, retired Baptist minister, died at his home north of the city at 6 AM today. He last preached some time ago at Concorde in Old Brushey, both in Appanoose County. Surviving are a daughter; Mrs. Charlotte Wright of Aurora, Colorado and a sister Mrs. George Workman of Centerville. The body has been removed to the Carroll Reese funeral Chapel pending arrival of Mrs. Wright and the completion of funeral arrangements. Friends may call at the funeral Chapel.
