The 15 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wilcoxson was found dead in bed in their Kirkville home about 8 a.m. today. The child named Walter K. had been recently hospitalized for pneumonia and although improved, continued to suffer from upper respiratory infection after being taken home. Coroner Gordon Traul said after the investigation the cause of death was from pneumonia. The child’s father recently was discharged from the armed forces. In addition to his parents, the child is survived by one brother, Earl Jr.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Wilcoxson of Kirkville, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Yoe of Mendon, Illinois. The body is at the community funeral home, pending completion of funeral arrangements.
