Mrs., Lena Zimmerman 84, wife of the late Zellen Zimmerman, died at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday at her home, 114 North Walnut Avenue. She was born January 24, 1861 in Schenectady, N.Y. the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Seibert, and lived most of her life in Wapello County. Her husband died in 1941, and she is survived by one daughter, Miss Mary Zimmerman at home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Carroll Reece funeral home in charge of the Rev. Edward. D. Byrd pastor of the East End Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. The body will be taken to the residence tonight and returned to the funeral home Friday morning. The pall bearers will be James McDowell, Ben Steele, Millard Mabis, Clayton Casady, Earl Rowe and James Young.
