Mrs. Alma R. Roe

Mrs. Alma R. Roe, 49, wife of Earl Roe, 102 South Walnut street, died at her home at 3:58 p.m. Sunday, following a lengthy illness.

The daughter of William and Susie Mann Nosley, she was born in Ottumwa August 30, 1907, and lived here all her life. She married Earl Roe December 24, 1925, and he survives. Mrs. Roe was a member of the First Church of the Open Bible.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Eastman of Richland, Wash., four sons, Earl E., William and Phillip Roe of Ottumwa, Harold Roe of Agency; her father, William Nosley of Ottumwa and eight grandcildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother in 1942 and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Johnson funeral chapel. The Rev. L.C. Card, pastor of the First Church of the Open Bible, is to be in charge. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery.
