DIES WHILE ON OTTUMWA VISIT
Mrs. Minnie Beghtol of Muskegon, Mich., Came To City For Father's Funeral

Mrs. Minnie North Beghtol, 48, an Ottumwa visitor from Muskegon, Mich., died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Ellen North, 427 Vernon Avenue, Saturday at 3 p.m.

Mrs. Beghtol came to Ottumwa to attend funeral services for her father, James North, 74, who died April 24. She had been visiting here since.

Heart trouble and pneumonia caused her death. She had been ill for 10 days.

Mrs. Beghtol was the daughter of James and Ellen North and was born in Ottumwa December 11, 1890. She attended Ottumwa public schools. She and Roy Beghtol of Muskegon were married July 27, 1912, moved to Muskegon in 1925.

While in Ottumwa, Mrs. Beghtol was a member of Trinity Episcopal church.

Surviving are her husband, Roy; a son, Harold Beghtol of Muskegon; a daughter, Mrs. Mary McCune of Spring Lake, Mich; four grandchildren, Monte and Sandra Lea Beghtol and Marian Yvonne and James Clarence McCune; her mother; three sisters, Mrs. Harold Lee and Mrs. Ray Miller of Ottumwa and Mrs. H. D. Rudat of Muskegon, and two brothers, John and Henry North of Ottumwa.

Services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in Johnson's funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. W.J. Creswell, pastor of the East End Presbyterain church. Burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Pentzer, Clarence and Donald Jones, George Biggs, Millard Powell and John Lunkley.

The casket was taken to the home of her mother, 427 Vernon avenue, today at 5 p.m. Will be at the chapel Tuesday noon.
