Obit of Ross Albert King
Published August 21, 1952Ross Albert King, 69, formerly of Ottumwa, died at 4 a.m. today in Albia. He was the son of James K. and Hannah E. King and was born October 9, 1882 at Kirkville, Iowa.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Earl Christy and Mrs. Henry James North, both of Ottumwa and Mrs. Mable King of Newton, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, a brother, Claude King and a sister, Mrs. Clara McCoy, both of Ottumwa. Mr. King's first wife, Nellie, and a son, Gene, preceded him in death.
The funeral will be held here at Johnson's funeral chapel at 3 p.m. Friday. The Rev. A.D. Pringle of the Ottumwa Baptist Temple will be in charge, assisted by the Rev. Leo Simmons of the Albia Church of the Open Bible. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
