Hollic C. Albertson 70, of 1122 North Wapello died at 1:50 p.m. Dec. 11, 1986 at St. Joseph's hospital health and rehabilitation center.

He was born Oct. 6, 1916 in Ottumwa to Ace and Mabel Mullford Albertson. He married Pauline Terrell. She died in 1937. He later married Helena Herman Oct. 11, 1938 at Lancaster Mo. She died in 1962.

A retired carpenter he was a member of the Eagles Lodge and had been active in Ottumwa Athletic Club.

He is survived by two sons; Gary of Ottumwa and Leslie A. of Moravia; a daughter Sandra Zoulek of Spillville; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren; four brothers Lawrence and Leslie F. of Ottumwa, Donald of West Yellowstone MONT; and Bernard of Massachusetts, and three sisters; Betty Hyndman of Cheyenne WYO, Mildred Dudley of St. David ARIZ;, and Hope Gentry of Aurora, COLO.

He was preceded in death by two daughters and one son. The service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at Johnson Funeral Chapel of Ottumwa, the Rev. Donahue of St. Joseph Health and Rehabilitation Center officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel.
