Ottumwa Courier

D/O William and Mary Bunker Shannon; born at Lowell, Iowa. Married James William Boyles June 1, 1866 at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. In 1897 Mr. and Mrs. Boyles moved to Ottumwa. He preceeded her in death.

Surviving are one daughter Gladys Hammond, a grandaughter Mrs. Doris Hammond, a grandaughter; Mrs. Doris Elensohn; a great grandson; Jim, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four daughters, a son, four sisters and a brother.

Burial will be at the Ottumwa Cemetery.
