Ernest E. Lewis 67 of 401 North Green died Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at his home. He had worked for the Coca Cola Bottling Company and had been a real estate salesman.

He was born Feb. 9, 1906 at Eunice, MO., the son of Ewell and Pearl Lewis. He had lived in Ottumwa for 41 years and was a life member of the Elks Lodge.

He married Bernice Packwood March 5, 1932. She survives. Also surviving are one son; Alan of White Bear Lake MN.; one daughter Mrs. Lyn Stephens of Glenrock WYO; three grandchildren; two sisters; Mrs. Mamie Stocker of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Lottie Morison of Centerville, and one brother Everett of Centerville.

The services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Reece Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Goins of the First Christian Church officiating.Burial will be in McCormick Cemetery near Highland Center.
