MRS. WM SWEENEY DIES SUDDENLY
DEATH OF POPULAR MATRON TUESDAY MORNING IS SHOCK TO COMMUNITY

Mrs. William Sweeney, well known and popular young matron of Roundup, died suddenly early Tuesday morning, death being due to complications arising from childbirth. News of the sad death came as a severe shock to the scores of friends of the Sweeneys as well as the entire community. Mrs. Sweeney having apparently been in good health the day before, and sincere and heartfelt expressions of grief and sorrow are heard on every side. The body was prepared for burial at Acton’s undertaking parlors and on Tuesday evening, following brief services at the Catholic church conducted by Rev. Father Hennessey, were shipped to the old home in Ottumwa, Iowa, where interment will take place. Mr. Sweeney and little son, Billy accompanied the body to the final resting place.

Mrs. Sweeney was born in Ottumwa November 22, 1889. She taught school for a number of years, meeting Mr. Sweeney at Red Lodge while thus engaged about eight years ago. In 1919 Mr. Sweeney purchased The Fad store in this city and the Sweeney’s came here to make their home. During their residence here of more than four years, Mrs. Sweeney had endeared herself in the hearts of all with whom she came in contact by her sympathetic, kind and loving nature, and her untimely death is deplored by a legion of friends.

Besides the bereaved and sorrowing husband, she is survived by three little children.
