OTTUMWA — A. Marie Orman, 93, of 815 Pennsylvania Ave., died at 9:35 p.m. Dec. 1, 2008, at Hospice House in Ottumwa.She was born March 3, 1915 in Troy to George W. and Effie O. Riggs Barker. She married Lowell Orman Oct. 23, 1932. He preceded her in death June 27, 1993.Surviving is her daughter, Dorothy (Charles) Wellman of Apple Valley, Calif.; a granddaughter, Karen (Harvey) Mayo of Los Angeles, Calif.; two great-grandsons, Ryan and Garrett Mayo; a great-great-grandson, Nicholas Mayo; a brother, LaVern (Jewel) Barker of Ottumwa; and a sister, Betty Frazier of Ottumwa; nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Bob Barker; and three sisters, Ruth Cassatt, Reva Hubbartt and Veva Barker; and an infant granddaughter.Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with Joe Selix officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the family present from 5-7 p.m. Friday.Pallbearers will be Vern Barker, Mike Frazier, Pat Frazier, Wesley Frazier, Tony Barker and Donnie Hubbartt.Memorials may be made to Hospice House, 312 E.
