OTTUMWA ~~ Agnes Louise Galey, age 85, of Garrett, Ind., died at 7 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2006, at her home.

She was the daughter of Arthur and Lucy (Baker) Galey, born August 28, 1928 in Ottumwa.

She worked for 17 years as a medical records clerk at San Francisco General Hospital in San Francisco, Calif., and was fountain clerk at the Lake Shore Pharmacy in Chicago, Ill., for ten years. She had been a Garrett resident since 1987. She was a member of the Garrett Elks Auxiliary and Garrett American Legion Auxiliary and member of the Plymouth Congregational Church, Ottumwa.

There will be no services or visitation.

Survivors include sister, Elizabeth ?Liz? Eberhard, Garrett, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lucy Galey; and brothers, Daniel, Theodore, Paul, Richard, James and John Galey.

Thomas Funeral Home, Garrett, Ind., is in charge of arrangements.
