OTTUMWA — Zeda Eloise Glosser, 90, died at 7:25 p.m. Aug. 14, 2008 at Maysville Nursing and Rehab Center in Maysville, Ky.

She was born Dec. 17, 1917 in Wapello County, Iowa to Elmer and Vina Angel Williams. She married Marvin Wayne Glosser March 27, 1937 in Fairfield, Iowa. They had three sons, Nathan, Neil and Craig. Together they farmed near Blakesburg until Marvin’s death Nov. 12, 1966. Zeda then moved to Ottumwa where she lived 41 years.A self-taught sewer, she honed her skills as a seamstress and was able to provide her services to many throughout the years.

Surviving are two sons, Nathan Glosser of Maysville, Ky., and Craig (Lee Ann) Glosser of Batavia; daughter-in-law, Joann Glosser of Ottumwa; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Neil Glosser; a brother, Hugh Williams and a sister Veda Williams.Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the family present from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.Memorials have been established to Hopewell Church or Hospice, 312 E. Alta Vista Ave., Ottumwa, IA 52501.
