BLAKESBURG — Arlo Ray Selix Jr., 77, of Camdenton, Mo. passed away July 2, 2007 at Osage Beach, Mo.

He was born Dec. 12, 1929 in Blakesburg to Arlo and Mary Selix. A U.S. Army veteran, he was very involved in the Osage Hills Baptist Church in Camdenton, Mo. He and wife, Pauline, had 55 happy years together.

Ray is survived by his wife, Pauline; a sister, Alice Johnson of Albia and a brother, Ron Selix of Omaha, Neb.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Arlo Selix and a brother, LeRoy Selix.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2007 at Knedler Funeral Home in Blakesburg, with Rev. Jay Jackson ; officiating. Burial will be in Blakesburg Cemetery.

Open visitation begins at 12 p.m. Thursday at Knedler Funeral Home in Blakesburg with the family present from 5:30-7 pm.
