OTTUMWA — Raven Leigh Umphress, 2, and Aiden Lowell Umphress, 11 months, daughter and son of Shawn and America Umphress of 143 N. Willard St., died Feb. 5, 2008, at their home as the result of a fire at their home.Raven was born May 21, 2005 in Knoxville, Iowa. Aiden was born Feb. 24, 2007 in Knoxville, Iowa.

Surviving are their parents, Shawn and America Umphress; a brother, Corbin Umphress of Des Moines; grandparents, Angie and Derrick Shafer of Ft. Riley, Kan., Cindy Wagner of Ottumwa, David Umphress of Calif., Mike and Cindy Yardley of Ottumwa; great-grandparents, Barb and Lowell Pettyjohn of Knoxville, Donald and Ilene Umphress of Bloomfield, Pat and Gloria Wagner of Ottumwa, Dale Shafer of Oskaloosa; great-great-grandparents, Sam and Margaret Nutter of Ottumwa.

They were preceded in death by great-grandparents, Francis and Marcene Wagner, Georgia Wagner and Marcie Shafer.Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Doud officiating. Burials will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.Memorials may be made to the family.
