Son of John and Mary Rankin born Colorado Speings Colorado; he was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Foxx; early pioneers of wapello County Iowa.

He is survived by his wife Marie, a Aunt Viriginia Torrence of Los Angeles; two brothers; Edward Rankin Chicago and William Rankin of New York.

The body will remain at Lester Jay funeral home awaiting funeral arrangements. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Emtombment will be in the Foxx Mausoleum.
