OTTUMWA — Theresa A. Haney, 48, of 5327 Urbandale Ave., Des Moines, formerly of Ottumwa, died at 7:52 p.m. November 27, 2005, at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

She was born April 7, 1957 in Ottumwa to Paul Wray and Mary Louise Canny Utterback. She married Carl Haney August 18, 1984.

A graduate of Hedrick High School, she had been a resident of Des Moines since 1984.

Surviving is her husband; two brothers, Paul John Utterback of Storm Lake and Tim Alan Christenson of Battery Park, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Arthur Lee "Buddy" Utterback; and a step-father, Wayne Christenson.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Miller officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
