LOLA ORMAN

Lola Belle Orman. 83, formerly of 242 S. Schuyler died at 9:05 a.m. May 11, 1983 in Ottumwa Manor.

She was born March 11, 1900 in Upland to Charles and Jennie Peterson Erickson. A resident of Ottumwa most of her life, she was a member of the Willard Street United Methodist Church, Friendship Group, Rececca Circle and United Methodist Women. She married John J. Orman Nov. 26, 1919. He died March 18, 1966.

Survivors: sons Francis E. "Frank" of Ottumwa and Kenneth M. of Arlington Heights, Ill.; daughters Jeanette L. "Jen" Hall and Connie J. Baker of Ottumwa; eight grandchildren and four great-granchildren; and a sister Ollie Briggs of Lockridge.

Service: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. Roy B. Brown officiating. Burial: Shaul Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Chet Sheets, Carey Swartz, Herbert Box, Russell Wise, Harold Marsh and Berl Dawson.

The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
