LOWELL ORMAN

OTTUMWA - Lowell J. Orman, 79, of 815 E. Pennsylvania died a 8:23 a.m. June 27, 1993, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

He was born Nov. 23, 1913, in Ottumwa to John H. and Annie L. Coffman Orman.

He owned and operated Orman Plumbing and Heating from 1945-51. He was the plumbing and heating inspector for the city of Ottumwa for 28 years, retiring in 1979.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; a daughter, Dorothy Wellman of Van Nuys, Calif.; a granddaughter, two great-grandsons; and two brothers, Alva E. Orman of Ottumwa and Lloyd F. Orman of Las Vegas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Everett E., and a granddaughter in infancy.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa with Joe Selix officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa.

Visitation will begin after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Honorary caketbearers will be Darrell Adams, Charles Celania, Irvin Druden, Bob Harrington and Dick Chisman.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
