LIBERTYVILLE. Mrs. Flora Janet PORTER, 86, Libertyville, died at 5 a.m. today at the Fairfield Convalescent Home... Burial will be in Fell Cemetery. Raymond Funeral Home.

Born Sept. 30, 1881, in Farmington, Ill., daughter of William and Amey ROLFE ABBOTT. She was reared and educated at Farmington and attended Central College at Pella. For a number of years she taught school in the Hedrick, Farson and Martinsburg communities. She married Frederick L. PORTER at Stanwood on Nov. 16, 1910. They moved to a farm near Libertyville in 1921 and following retirement moved to Libertyville in 1946. Member Libertyville Methodist Church and WSCS.

Survivors include one son, William, R.3, Fairfield; one daughter, Mrs. Amey GLOTFELTY, five greatgrandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ed THOMSON, Oskaloosa; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter, two grandchildren, two brothers and a sister.
