GRACE EVELYN BENNETT 89, of rural Downing, Mo, died September 25, 2001 in Schuyler County Nursing home, Queen City Mo.

She was born May 18, 1912 near Downing MO, to WILLIAM and ANNA MAE WEST NEIL. She married FLOYD BENNETT Sept, 20, 1933.

Surviving are a daughter SHIRLEY HOPE of Ottumwa; 2 grandaughters and 3 great-grandsons.

The service will be held 2 pm Saturday September 29, in Normam Funeral Home, Lancaster,Mo, with the Rev. Sam Martin officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, northeast of Lancaster, Mo.

Pallbearers will be Joe, Tom and Tim Farley, Charles Comstock, Ellis Speer and Vaughn Fogle. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Vaske and Chris Neal.

Family visitation will be 7-8:30 today, Friday.

Memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
