The trial of John Junken at Centerville terminated on Wednesday in a verdict of murder in the first degree on a charge of murdering Clara Rosen. The judge sentenced him to hang in July, 1910.

Reward for Murderer.
Governor Carroll has issued an offer of a reward of $300 for the apprehension of the murderer of Miss Clara Rosen of Ottumwa. Absolutely no clue exists as to the perpetrator and the police of Ottumwa are at sea in the matter.
