AFFIDAVIT

In the State Of Ohio / Athens County
C.M. Kirkpatrick having made application for the license for Matthew PHILLIPS and Elizabeth McDermott and being duly sworn, says that Matthew Phillips is of age of twenty one years and has no living wife, and Elizabeth McDermott is of the age of eighteen years, a resident of said county and has no husband living,and the said parties are not nearer kin than second cousins.
Sworn to and subscribed before me, this 2nd day of March A.D.1878
