Will of Timothy Edward Lanigan of Ottumwa, Iowa Wapello County, Iowa
This will was handwritten on August 09, 1933.

To whom it may concern, that I TIMOTHY EDWARD LANIGAN being of sound mind, do voluntary give and bequeast, all my real and personal property that is left after my death to my brother JAMES A LANIGAN and at his death to revert to his wife ANNA LANIGAN her dowery in estate; the rest to my brother's wife's tow sons JAMES H LANIGAN and TIMOTHY LANIGAN minors, if they have reach their majorty at the time of my brothers death, then their mother will be their guardian until they reach legal age, and no part of real or personal property shall be give away or bartered; only for the good of all parties concerned, and with the concent of JAMES M. and TIMOTHY H LANIGAN minors at present. All this with the understanding that they will be united in their families ties as they are this date, and if they are peaceful and law abiding citizens of U.S. and if JAMES M and TIMOTHY H LANIGAN take care of their mother and father in their needs and care for them in their old age, as they read it-Non compliance of these facts makes this will void.
