THOMAS WILSON MOORE(1833-1892) and MALINDA SWAIM MOORE (1834-1888) left Parke County, Indiana for Iowa shortly after 1880. One of their sons, DANIEL WEBSTER MOORE, appeared in Frederic, Monroe County, Iowa in 1892 where he married EMMA MOSS. None of the rest of the family were in Monroe County, Iowa. Wapello County, Iowa is just over the county line from Frederic and there is a good chance THOMAS MOORE settled there.

There children were CHARLES ALEXANDER MOORE(1857-1921); LABEN F. MOORE(1860-1915); WILLIAM PETER MOORE(1861-1939); DANIEL WEBSTER MOORE(1863-1947);
JEMINA J. MOORE(1865-1915);ADDA MAY MOORE(1866-1952); WATSON HUBERT MOORE(1868-1894); MARY EMILY MOORE(1870-1888); HANNAH ELLEN MOORE(1873-1956);ELIZA ANN MOORE(1876-??)
